My usual Fashion Valley Mall sustenance consists of either chocolate-covered strawberries from Godiva or a soup & salad from Boudin. Which is why I was beyond excited when I out that there was a brand-new eatery open for business within the mall. Stacked promises food well built, and they deliver on that promise by allowing you to build it yourself on an iPad located at each table.
This is the first time I’ve encountered this ordering concept, and I must say I fell in love with it! Servers are still available for any questions you may have, but you are encouraged to fully customize your order before sending it out to the kitchen. You can stack your own burger, pizza, salad or sausage as an entree, or pick from the items already put together for you. Even the dessert can be customized, I chose to stack my own milkshake and it turned out incredible! The cookie sandwiches also looked beyond delish, but alas: I had no room left.
