Thumbprint Gallery, located at 920 Kline St. in La Jolla, is THE ultimate destination if you like edgy, urban art. Personally, I love art with a bit of grit to it and this gallery always delivers. Founded by Johnny Tran and Paul Ecdao in 2009, Thumbprint Gallery has become a staple on the San Diego art scene with monthly exhibitions, and art shows at Bar Basic. I got a chance to pop into the La Jolla gallery the other day and view the Once Upon a Time exhibit, which features the new work of 2 amazing LA artists: Mimi Yoon and John Park. Exquisite! While there, I also got the opportunity to meet Johnny (super cool) and chat about the gallery and the current exhibition.
