By this point, many of us have tried various Acai bowls from various vendors. It seems as if this Amazon superfood has popped up everywhere in the last few years, loved for it’s many unique taste and countless health benefits (antioxidants, omegas, and vegan whole food proteins to name just a few).
Sambazon Acai has been a leading purveyor of this superfood for over 10 years, providing people with Acai access to both fresh and frozen versions online and through stocking in various food coops and health food stores. Just last year, they opened up their first cafe, located in Cardiff-by-the-Sea: 2031 San Elijo Avenue. And it seems the Cardiff cafe was a total success for they just opened up another location in Newport: 3138 West Balboa Boulevard.
Sambazon thrives on the lovely concept of “Algeria“, a Brazilian word used to describe the “vibrant state of soulful contentment that comes from celebrating life to the utmost.” Now, there’s a mission statement I can fully do business with!
Go Green: The Sambazon Acai Cafe was created with energy efficient resources (energy saving light bulbs with the lighting structures made from recycled glass) and sustainable materials (furniture made from recycled/salvaged materials and wood interiors made up of rescued Acai wood).
